In recognition of the work that Jewel does for Manchester’s Jewish Community, Isaac Ginsbury the CEO of Jewel was invited to a reception at 10 Downing Street, hosted by the Prime Minister Theresa May, this past Wednesday.

David Zucker, one of Jewel’s trustees, commented how thrilled he and his co trustees are for Jewel to be acknowledged by the Prime Minister for the economic support that Jewel provides to the Community. “We know that helping people earn a living in one of the highest forms of charity one can do and it a real pleasure for us to support the Community. Likewise, it is inspiring for all of us at Jewel to be honoured with representing the Jewish Community to the Prime Minister.”

Isaac was privileged to have an individual chat with the Prime Minister where he explained Jewel’s services and the challenges people face when looking for work. Isaac remarked what a privilege it was to speak to the Prime Minister and to pass on her thanks to all of the Jewel team for the work they do.

Jewel are constantly developing their employment, training and business support to match the needs of the Community and this accolade will encourage them further to keep on supporting residents in any way they require.
